Perfect retreat before Santiago

The hotel provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. After a long day on the Camino, we enjoyed a fantastic meal in the well-kept garden area, which was a delightful surprise.

The initial check-in experience lacked the warmth typically expected, as the staff member seemed a bit unfriendly. A quick smile would have brightened our arrival.

the shower had low water pressure but the apartment was cozy with a nice little kitchen. the bar had great drinks and the restaurant served the best arroz negro. staff were really friendly and helpful.

The apartment had excellent amenities, including a convenient kitchenette. However, noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our sleep.

Quiet surroundings make it easy to recharge before hitting the road again. The place felt comfortable and simple, perfect for a quick overnight stay.

However, the moldy and musty conditions in the twin room raised some serious health concerns. The sofa in the sitting area looked like it belonged in a junkyard, detracting from the overall ambiance.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the airport, making our early morning flight seamless. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere. The outdoor garden provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink in the evening.

The only downside was the limited breakfast options available early in the morning.

what an absolute disgrace this hotel is! moldy rooms and unpleasant staff made me feel like I didn’t belong. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade, but no, just disgusting decor and a lack of hospitality. I nearly gave a good review, but I just couldn’t! it was like sleeping in a cave, very refreshing. not!

Where it excels and where it fails

The restaurant staff were friendly, and the arroz with prawns was outstanding, creating a lovely dining experience that made our stay memorable.

Unfortunately, construction noise disrupted the atmosphere, detracting from the overall comfort of our visit.

Casa De Amancio is a delightful place with spacious rooms and a lovely garden dining area. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. Loved the kitchen amenities for quick meals!

It was just a proper fit for a temporary stay in Lavacolla with outstanding value for money. The friendly host stayed up late to welcome us and even kept the bar open for us. Grab a good coffee in the morning before heading out.

Staying with my family and a few colleagues was quite enjoyable. The spacious setting lends itself well to families. The bar was a hit, with a friendly host staying late to serve us drinks after our arrival. We also loved the cozy atmosphere.

My wife says that the breakfast selection could be improved.
